Foggy II by Lovesong4no1 Foggy II by Lovesong4no1
It was very foggy today, so I went on a little drive to take some photos. It was quite a little trip....I don't really like driving in it!

About this photo
This photo was taken through the window of my moving car, but I liked it so much, I wanted to share.

Shot in RAW and converted with CameraRAW in Adobe PS CS3. Unsharp mask and border in PS.

Wow, I like this one a lot. I thought it was black and white before I viewed the page.
I like how the road leads into the fog, and it seems that you're basically heading down the road, ito the unknown. Very obscure, very nice.

Thanks a lot! The fog made the world seem very monochrome.

It was very unnerving driving in the fog (which makes my photographing while driving even more stupid), because you couldn't see 50 feet in front of you.

Thanks for the comment!

Haha. Well, I've done worse. I've texted people during whiteouts... But I stopped that, since it got me into a whole road rage incident on the one night I did it.
I was taking photos of the road today... Though I just kinda stopped by the side. =P

Oh wow, haha yeah that tops me! I was going to pull over, but every time I saw a place to pull off it was too late, I was past it!

Ah, yeah... I missed a bunch of good stuff, but I guess it wasn't that unfortunate since I only had about 8 shots left when I left to get shots of the newly snow-covered branches. Unfortunately I don't think my last one will come out, since it was fairly dark, I didn't have a tripod, and the shutter stayed open for about a second. I seem to remember not having a very steady hand when it comes to SLR cameras... x_x

Yeah, I've had that problem. I seem to forget my tripod quite a lot. But you never know, those accidental 'mess ups' sometimes turn out great!

This is true. Though it was a picture of a tree farm; a bunch of evergreens whose branches were cut off until at least 50-75 feet up, behind some snow-covered firs, and the basic idea was to be like pikes, leftover from wars between gods. Though you're right, it might add to it. =P
